Beautiful for mounting license plates on a bumper!
Pros:+ Cheapest I could find on Amazon+ Adequate quality to do the job and Installed the M6 rivnuts / nurserts with no difficulty in a plastic 2023 BRZ bumper to mount license plates+ Came with an adequate number of M4-M8 nutserts+ Easy to use once you realize the die is reverse threaded — counterclockwise tightens the die to the tool.+ Professional results, hopefully the nutsert will last a long time.Cons:- Not the highest quality and the black oxide on the die wore off after installing the first nutsert.- Not the largest selection of dies and sizes in this kit- The “gun” design of this tool requires more hand strength than the ones that use a “hedge pruner” design.- Once the nutsert is crimped, the threads get slightly deformed. I found it easier to spin the entire tool out of the insert than twist the knob.Additional comments:I wish every car dealership would just install these before drilling into the bumper of a new car to install license plates. It literally took less than a minute to install these nutserts and makes such a difference in being able to mount a license plate nicely.

This thing when used correctly works great. Making my Mustang Project much easier.
As long as you take your time it works great. Do not be too aggressive on the squeeze step. Easy does it. I put the squeeze stopper about halfway on the 5M RivNuts.

Works, some issues though
Set some burly steel rivet nuts and everything still looks ok, there's some minor marking on the mandrel threads but it does its job, probably won't last a long time but for home usage should be ok, not sure if the mandrels can be purchased separately, that would definitely be a good thing. My hand hurts though, compared to a pneumatic tool or one of the driver setters, this does take some work. With aluminum rivet nuts, this will probably last a long time, I think you'll start shredding the threads on your mandrels if you set a ton of steel nuts with this though, definitely not a commercial quality product. One tip, for removing the tool from a set nut, keep it halfway squeezed in or it's almost impossible to unscrew. If you squeeze it in just an inch or so, but not putting pressure back on the rivet nut, it unscrews easily. I would lube everything with some triflo or good oil before using in any case though. The retention clamp is just a chunk of bent metal which is pretty funny, case is close to useless as well. Not really deducting for that, you'll want a better case for this though. For the cost for something to occasionally use at home, this is a great tool, if you need to use one a lot, spend the money and get a really good one.

Very nice rivnut set and easy to use.
Used this product as soon as I received it to replace a failed rivnut on my Ti bicycle. It worked perfectly and was very easy to use. Just follow the directions provided. Very satisfied with this tool. The most important things to know are the size of rivnut required and the care required in removing the failed rivnut from the bicycle.

Carrying Case is Subpar
I purchased this kit to mount a water bottle cage on a bicycle. I ended up not being able to use it because the frame of the bike limited where a cage could be mounted. I'll keep it around for future use.Pros:1) It comes with a lot of rivet nuts in a variety of sizes2) great value for your moneyCons:1) the case is cheap plastic and does not close securely2) it is impossible to fit the rivet nuts into the case once they have been opened

Perfect solution to unique problems
This thing works. That's just about all you need to know.If you have a bike and want to locate your water bottle cage in a custom location/configuration, this is your tool. If you want to adapt a mounted item to your particular mounting platform, this will do it.Various bolt size options and easy to follow instructions. The inserts are not stainless and I wouldn't try using this tool with stainless inserts, but if you have an aluminum bike or other item, this will get the job done.Remember to use a drill bit that is no more than 1mm larger than the nut insert. If this is you first time with this tool, I recommend practicing on something with it first (hint, don't use the M3-M5 nut inserts, they're the most commonly needed, use the less common M7!)
