A fun introduction to self reallization
This is one of my all time favourite books. While I am not a big fan of other Deepak Chopra other books I love this one. It is a grate fun and thought provoking way of seeing reality from the perspective of self as if your true self could have a open conversation with you on explaining your true nature in a magical context of King Arthur and Merlin. If I had children which I don't, this would be the book I would read to them at night.I had been around the spiritual circuit for many years reading all the usual self awareness books sometimes coming across a book written buy a person who in my opinion has obtain spiritual enlightment, true self awareness from St Germain to all the indian guru masters which now a days is all I read. But I still go back to this book and have read it 20 or 30 times for me in the begging it helped me understand how to reconise a true masters voice aswell as understanding that it is obtainable for a every day person.

Creative Fiction on Wizard Theme
The Way of the Wizard by Deepak Chopra is a spiritual type of fiction story that utilizes the story archetype characters of Merlin and Arthur. Some of the lessons involving themes related to love, touches upon seeing multiple versions/potentialities of various events, some of the writings within really making a reader ponder the multiple meanings (the essence of the wizard is transformation) and more.

the ultimate teaching
He makes clear in this book things I have long know and experienced. I am grateful for his ability to write these things down for us to read!

Good
I like the story line of this book...Merlin telling the stories/lessons makes it entertaining. I'm not sure that it was quite what I expected, but it was good, albeit, a bit more philosophical than I would have liked.

"The wizard is inside you, and he wants only one thing: to be born."
Thank you dear Deepak, my spiritual teacher. I cannot thank you enough. I am extremely overwhelmed just from reading the first lesson from the "the way of the wizard". Earlier today, I was desperate, and crying worrying about my future. Nothing seems to work as it should be although I tried everything that I could. Until I herd a voice inside me saying: "check the way of the wizard book", constantly repeating. So, I checked amazon's book and I found it. I browsed it, read the introduction, and it was clearly speaking to me. With no hesitation, I bought the e-book version and started reading it. I am totally speechless. I read the first lesson three times, and each time I read it, I discover and understand a new thing. The wizard inside me that I kept him dormant all these years. The wizard was whispering "find me", but I ignored him instead of uniting with him. I intend to read a lesson every day, I intend to live and apply the lesson in my daily life. Till the wizard and I united as one, although I can feel it already here inside me as oneself. I am really grateful to you dear Deepak for showing me how to find my true self."The wizard is inside you, and he wants only one thing: to be born."Namaste,Sarah

Deepak explains in layman's terms the wisdom of old...
I have always admired Deepak Chopra, and this book has become one of my favorites. Mixing wisdom from the ancients with daily activities in our current time, this book makes the lessons visible, understandable, and applicable to our lives in the 21st century. It is easy to be distracted from basic truths and soul wisdom in a society that seeks to distract us from our core, but this little book helps to put things in their proper place. I think it's a good read for anyone who likes to look beyond the obvious, and seeks to know on a level that is not tied in to any particular time or place, but is both timeless and boundless.
