Purchased a BBK 85mm Throttle body for my 2006 Challenger R/T. I had nothing but issues with it setting a MIL P0507 lamps and idle issues over and over, even after performing the reset procedure and purchasing a Diablo tuner. At one point the car would stall out and not restart till I performed the throttle reset procedure. Even then in a couple hours the light was back on and the car was having issues. BBK customer support is terrible, they just sent another faulty unit to me. After a couple of units I decided to just return it and get my money back and purchase a Modern Muscle 87mm throttle body. So far both BBK and Amazon are refusing to refund my money. Either way I purchased a Modern Muscle unit just now after speaking to one of their representatives (they also sell BBK throttle bodies) on the phone who informed me that BBK throttle bodies require a special, that means not included with a stock Diablo Programmer (Diablo units run $400) tune (special tunes can run upwards of $300+) set up to work correctly. Something they do not tell you when purchasing. I'll spend my money elsewhere next time...

12 challenger rt took me 30 min or less install is so simple and easy had no codes or idle just follow there 3 step inductions on how to sync the new 85tb and no problems may add tho after u sync u it and start your car let it idle for 5 min to get the computer used to it give it a Rev or 2 and let it idle as far as the screws go your using the old bolts you took out so when putting em back don't tighten the first 1 make it semi snug get em all in and gently tighten till it feels sung go cross over top left first then bottom right to top right then to bottom left just take your time don't force sht if you gotta force it it's not lined up right then take out your screws and redo

Didnt notice to much of a difference until I hit the highway. The throttle response is definitely there and with the Econoaid TBS it puts out like I thought it would. Not to savvy on my upgrades right now but I can definitely tell a difference from my old one and this one.

Installed this on a 2009 Challenger SRT8 and had zero problems. My TB went bad and I had to replace it so I figured why not get the bigger one when I need a new one anyway. Don't really feel much difference in power but it works perfectly. Install was maybe 15 minutes.

The BBK 85mm throttle body for the 5.7 hemi is possibly the best basic thing that can be installed for improved performance. Installation was quicker than an oil change with the result of greatly improved throttle response. I've also seen a 1mpg mileage increase (highway) to 31. Definitely a winner.

The reviewer that called this a $400 paper weight is right. Simply the biggest regret of a MOD I ever purchased. I stubbornly refused to believe this was the reason for my periodic check engine light triggering, but it was. Also got to the point where the car was bucking and running so bad I thought my transmission was going out. Put the stock throttle body back on and no issues since. I wish i could get my money back or BBK would at leaders stand by this lemon of a product.

I own a 2012 Dodge Charger R/T 5.7L Hemi and only one complaint. The check engine light keeps coming on now and then. I am also a Chrysler Technician and know cars pretty well. So when this said bssically plug and play i was sceptic. With the new computer systems that is not true with anything anymore. First off it is true about calibration of the new tb however what it doesn't tell you is that you still need to take it to a dealership and the tech needs to go into your vehicles computer system and do a electronic calibration by clearing adaptives that are in the pcm. Onto other things even when that is performed there is no guarantee that will work. The code that will keep coming back is a high idle air control. Nothing is wrong with your vehicle but you may want to keep your old tb for inspections. Side note i have a Drb 2 plugged into my car on standby. Hope this helps people that needs it. Gave 2 stars because it does improve performance minus annoyance
