Quick and easy drop-in install
We were lucky and the only thing that broke during the Great Texas Freeze of 2021 was an outdoor shower by the pool. The shower head was dripping water when we emerged from our hibernation and after opening up the handle, we could see a crack down the center of the cartridge. All other seals were fine!I wish this was available locally, but it turns out that Amazon got it to me the next day! I ordered on Saturday afternoon and received it on Sunday even though they estimated it would arrive on Thursday!I dropped everything to get it in (we're expecting rain) and the install couldn't have been easier. This was from Peerless and shipped/sold via Amazon. It did come with the anti-scald ring on it and all I had to do was unscrew the handle mount from the old one and put it onto the new one.Inserted it, replaced all the hardware, turned on the water, and it was perfect! No drips, perfect control. I proceeded to caulk around the faceplate and I was ready for a drink =)

This is the right part, but the picture has a RP73625 shown as included, which it is not.

DOES NOT COME WITH CHECK VALVE - great otherwise
I had an issue where occasionally the hot water would not work in my shower, and a slight drip would come from the diverter. After taking it apart numerous times, getting a partial fix, and then it happening again I decided the cartridge was bad.After a few different trips to hardware stores and purchasing defective cartridges I purchased this one.The cartridge I got was made 6 months ago, and has the pictured updated system. (a plus as the hardware store ones were still 2-3 years old) You can see the differences in my photos. The scald setting is a lot easier to adjust, although I had to set mine almost all the way to the hot limit on this specific cartridge (seen in photos).The one thing I didn't need was the check valve as mine was still in good condition, unfortunately, it is pictured here with the cartridge. You will have to purchase the check valve separately if you feel you need to replace that as well.Super easy install, hope this review helps.
