Really impressed!
For the price of £5.99 for 50 threads I had low expectations but I've been proven completely wrong!These are really high quality threads (6 strand), really soft, bright bold colours, a great selection of colours from pastels to bright bold colours with a lovely shine to them which my photos just don't do justice.The only issue I had was when I opened up the packet some of the glue from the labels had gone sticky and caused some of the bundles to stick together. But I think it was just the warm weather that caused this.Overall really really impressed by this, incredible value for money, will definitely be ordering this again.

Good value, not DMC quality or exact colour matches
These are a great starter for people who aren’t sure if they want to commit to embroidery or cross stitch etc. They’re amazing value and the colours are absolutely in the right ballpark for the DMC colours.The negatives are:1) Quality. They aren’t as glossy as DMC, and they’re slightly fluffy. When separated the threads aren’t quite as even as DMC threads are, they fluctuate in size slightly. I’ve not had any breakages and sometimes a more mat look works better, so may not be a problem for everyone!2) Colour. They ARE different to the DMC colours. Not a problem if you’re starting out, but if you need to swap to a new skein you’re going to have to buy the DMC one and it will look different.I’ve attached some photos so you can see four of the threads from this set (which I’ve wound on to bobbins) alongside the same DMC threads that came with some kits I bought so you can decide for yourself!I have no regrets about buying this set, it’s great and has really allowed me to go a bit wild with colours as I learn embroidery. I don’t worry about wasting thread if something goes wrong. If you buy these aware that you can’t buy DMC quality and colours at these prices, and you won’t be disappointed!

Have ordered this twice now, and it has not yet disappointed ! The range of colours is incredible, there are plenty of needles and accessories. Perfect for beginners.Seemingly good quality, easy to separate and very functional. Thank you ! Will be buying again in the future

These threads are amazing. Great quality. I usually buy know brands like Anchor but gave theses a try. Am delighted with them.

Thread is fine, but the accessories are no good
The thread itself is absolutely fine, with lots of colour choices for all your needs. However, the needles supplied, whilst larger than normal sewing needles, have eye holes that make it very difficult to get the thread through, even with the supplied threader, which broke on first use. Have had to use one I had already. For a beginner to this sort of thing, a bit more thought should have been put into the needles supplied with the thread and the quality of the threader. Although given this was made in china, as everything is these days, the poor quality I guess was to be expected.
