I bought this for a protable outdoor shed i built for the stray cats that live near me. I put this in the tent along with food, water and houses for them and it keeps the water from freezing and the inside of the tent from getting below freezing. I could probably use 2 of these for the size tent and this winter had been much colder then past ones but it runs 24/7 for the last few months and i have had zero issues with it so far.

Installed the heater last night in my dog house. I got down in the 20’s last night but the kept the dog house right at 60 degrees. No connectivity issues. My phone controls the temp perfectly. Very easy install. Very pleased with this purchase.

I have had this heater for about three months and so far, I am pretty disappointed. The heater itself works, but the actual temperature varies significantly from the set temperature. I have a separate digital thermometer (that I have used in various settings and have tested for accuracy) in the pet enclosure to ensure I am keeping my tortoise warm enough. At any given time, there is as much as 8-10 degrees variance between what I have the thermostat set to and the actual temperature in the enclosure. The app for programming and monitoring the heater is useless. Every single morning when I open it to check/adjust the temperature, it doesn’t work and I have to restart my phone (every single day!) to get it to work. I have reinstalled the app several times but the problem persists. It’s kind of a hassle. If you don’t actually care about maintaining a particular temperature range and just need some heat, it works - but if you want to ensure that you are not overheating or underheating your pet, find something else.

While the heater works well, one of the main reasons I chose this one was because it stated there is an app you can download and control the temperature from your phone. When I tried to download the app, I got an error message that says it is not compatible with the newer Android OS. It seems that they have not updated their app for a while. I feel like the description should state what OS it is compatible with.

Was easy to install. Has a panel to tell u the temp set on and the temp it is on the inside. I love the app. I can set the temp and set a schedule or time limit for it to run from anywhere! It’s super quite and doesn’t get hot so ur pets won’t burn themselves or be scared of it. I bought an insulation kit to sit inside and a plastic dog house door flap and it gets the temp I set it on. Def worth the money. Just make sure ur dog house is insulated so air doesn’t escape. I ordered another a few days ago for my neighbor. Makes it easy on u looking at the app and co trailing the heat and not having to run out in the cold to keep checking it. Plus having control while at work is everything. Easy to install with couple screws into mounting bracket. Heater secures to mounting bracket with thumb screw, making it quick and easy to remove from mount and cover in plastic bag if you wash out your doghouse. Must make a bigger hole for power cord due to control box size if mounted on out side of house if no other holes available to route cord and control. Control box and heater are made as one assembly connected by couple feet of conduit. Regular plastic cord from control box to power plug. For plastic one piece dog house use roof vent hole and make a small notch in doghouse shell at vent opening, reinstall vent. I own doghouses that are plastic one piece, plastic multiple piece assembled and home built wood dog house condo. Best to get vinyl flap to cover doggy door opening which really keeps heat inside, these are also on Amazon.

I purchased 2 of these, one for a small cat house and another for a medium dog house. I have found that it does a great job bringing the temperature up from 25F to 50F. With the dog house, it brings the temp up from 25F to around 44F. The dog house has a larger entrance so I am sure that's the reason. A little more insulation would help. The app is easy and quick to set. The price seems a bit high but they have been working well and I am on my second winter with the first one I bought.
