Works perfectly with FritzBox
Easy to setup. It speaks to you. Quite expensive, but our ISP gave us a FritzBox hub so we chose this as not certain any other phone would work. Works perfectly.

Enjoying this phone
This is the first Dec phone I have used and I am a fritz box wifi owner. I've not tried out all the features but I'm enjoying using this phone for sound quality, volume setting, answer phone and recording calls when necessary. I would recommend it.

FritzFon C6 Phone
I ordered 2 FritzFon C6 phones and afterwards due to previous experiences with other Fritz items I have purchased, I emailed the supplier to ask if the phones came with Euro or UK plugs and if the user language was English, they never bothered to answer. To help others I can tell you that it comes with a Euro plug and will like their other “C” phones, download and install the same language as the FritzBox Router after pressing the “Dect” button. The phone itself feels well built and the basics easy to work out and use. To find out more there are manuals available on their website but NOT for the C6 (at time of writing). The C5 is similar but it is reasonable to assume the C6 has other features other than the volume control being on the side of the phone, you will have to find them yourselves as the “quick start” that comes with it is in German and basic. You will need to open the Router's menu to set up the refinements of the phone and the phone ‘s menu to set almost everything else as the default settings seem to be inconsistent and will require adjustment. The Dect range appears to be a lot less than stated unless you live in a house without walls and with a Dect repeater being around £100 you may feel that this is a consideration. The sound quality is very good indeed being clear and without any buzzing at all.Overall, I can recommend the phone, but you will need to be conversant with your router’s menu to set it up properly.

No way to change time zone
Why supply a British customer with phones loaded with everything in German and with two pin European plugs?Finding how to change the language to English was a time-consuming frustrating challenge. When BST changed to GMT, the time shown on the phones did not change automatically, and no way has been found to do it manually. The timing of listed calls is therefore also adrift. There was no warning in the product description to tell customers that this is a drawback.

You wouldn't confuse this with a product from Apple or Google
Good news- easily registers to Fritz Box router- good sound quality- good battery life- 3.5mm headphone socket.Bad news- phone is light and plasticky and of modest build quality- so is the charger base- 13amp power adapter inconveniently trades small height and width for larger depth, so it sticks out from the wall, making it hard to put behind furniture- menus are out of the 1990s- built in ringtones are dire, though you can configure it to use your own.

Does it support the English Language
The supporting documentation is in German. I do not know if the phone supports English, I certainly could not find the option and I do not have the time to translate every German word to find it.The phone looks and feels good, but I would avoid it unless you have a working knowledge of German!

Fritz Fon C6 White
The phone was purchased from the Amazon Germany website (it's cheaper). And is designed, and works best with a Fritzbox router (which i have). Makes set up easier. It came with a European plug, so you will need an adapter. The phone's language is in German, again not a problem. As soon as the phone is registered with the fritzbox the english language files are downloaded and installed automatically. The English language manual is also available from the AVM website.I'm happy with the phone.
