This Deluxe Uncapping Tub is so much better than all the DIY options out there. It's very well designed, the FDA approved food grade material is substantial and thick, and the components are all of very high quality. I had a little trouble installing the honey gate, so I sent an email to the company. They quickly made a video to show me where I had gone wrong, and the fix was simple. Wonderful customer service from a small company in the USA!

Harvested 3 quarts of honey with it. Worked great. A little pricey but gets the job done.

I like the quality of it, and the look of it….but for the life of me I can’t figure out why they wouldn’t make it so the frames could hang inside it as the do in the hive box. They have to perch up in the air, wish I’d taken a picture. And you can’t put the lid on it with the crossbar in place…so even if frames did fit inside you could keep flies off, etc. Sadly I am making payments on this and if I hadn’t waited until I had the frames out and ready for uncapping I would have sent it back.

I'm glad to see a tub kit made of food grade material that's well built, easy to use and easy to clean.
