LOVE this coffee maker!
I used one of these for several years until the filter came apart. I couldn't find the same item until recently and so glad I did. In the meantime I had to make do with filters that rushed the water through and made a weak cup of coffee. This pour-over maker slows the process down .. it takes a little longer but so what when you get a great cup of coffee without having to use more coffee grounds. It is made of glass but with the care that you use on all your glassware it can last forever. I really wanted to find this coffee maker again because of the size of coffee mug it will accommodate. My new coffee mug is over three and a half inches across the bottom. No other coffee filter will accommodate that width. No need to use the dishwasher, just gently wash in sudsy water. Finally, use the paper filter if you want to but realize some flavor is lost. Makes a big difference for me.

the best pour over
This is the third Primula Pour Over Coffee Maker I have had (the first one that I have bought from Amazon). It is possible to break the glass filter holder. I have broken two in the past 4 years. However, I love making coffee with this product so much that I will replace it again if necessary. I like using the metal filter without the waste and mess of paper filters, though you can use a paper filter inside the metal one if you choose. I don't know of another product exactly like this one. There are plastic and ceramic filter holders but I like this one best. It's easy to use, fairly light weight and dishwasher-safe as long as you are careful placing the glass so it doesn't bump against anything.

Quality pour over
The media could not be loaded. First I like that this pour over coffee filter will help reduce waste that is found in the packaging of the alternatives coffee making products. This makes a great cup of pour over coffee, you can make it strong or you can make it light, you choose. I do like the handle on the outside of the filter, and I do like that the base is somewhat translucent and you can see how much coffee you've poured without lifting the filter itself. It's definitely seems like a quality product that should last a long time.

Makes excellent plastic-free coffee
Makes great coffee! We use a coffee filter with it as there is a small study out there showing that coffee oils from unfiltered coffee can raise cholesterol. But if that is a non-issue, then this item can be used without a paper filter. With a paper filter it works fine. It really makes great coffee and it doesn't take a long time. We have two of these so if one is in the dishwasher another is available, being heavy coffee drinkers. This is a very high quality product.

Lasted 2 years
Had this pour over for almost 2 whole years and it worked fine, but recently the glue holding the plastic base and the glass failed and the two came apart. Very difficult to get back together - maybe heat would have worked.

Plastic drip bottom
The metal cone fits in the glass cone, but the bottom drip hole (this platform is attached to the plastic) that the glass cone sits it. This bottom portion separated from its plastic surroundings. It may be a product defect or I ran cold water over it too soon after I removed the device from the coffee cup to clean it. Otherwise, I love the product.

Great Little Coffee Pot
No need for a coffee maker. Nice look and feel and the stainless no paper filter is the best. A friend broke it after I had it several years. He thought it was plastic. It is glass! So glad to find the same one.

Loved this so much I just bought another one
I don't drink coffee, but daily I drink a coffee substitute called Teeccino, which has a similar grind to coffee and is prepared the same way. I found I needed two drippers--the one in the dishwasher and the one I'm using that day, so I just ordered a second one. I have looked at every kind of coffee dripper that doesn't use disposable filters and I can tell you that this is the one that gives the results most like you would get using disposable coffee filters. Having the glass cone separate from the stainless steel filter is imperative because the beverage drips through too quickly if you have just the stainless steel part, and you get a weak beverage. The small hole in the glass piece holds the hot water in the dripper about the same length of time as you would get with a disposable coffee filter without having to throw away the used filter. You need both pieces separate. The hole in the glass part in the version I bought years ago is smaller than the hole in the second one I just purchased. I have one flavor of Teeccino that is such a fine grind that it was having trouble dripping through that dripper at all. But the one I just received has a bit bigger hole than the older one and can easily accommodate the very fine grind. So I use the older one for the more medium grind flavors of the Teeccino and the one with the larger hole for the very fine grind. Other reviewers have said these are fragile, but they are not. I have had one for several years, I put it in the dishwasher, etc. I think you would really have to abuse these to damage them. I'm sure if I ever did break one, I would replace it with EXACTLY the same dripper. I suggest you order two so you'll always have a clean one.
