Great starter
Works great after 18 months and a lot of use. Easy to install. Great price and definitely something I’d recommend.

Better than stock
Bought this a while back and just got around to installing it on a 2011 5045D. It fit perfect and the tractor turns over better than the stock starter ever did. The tractor hasn’t been cranked in a year or longer and fired right up first try. Have bought this same starter in the past for a 2017 5075E and a 5055E and had the same results. Way cheaper and better performance over the $700 John Deere one. Don’t hesitate, buy it now even if your starter isn’t bad yet.

This starter is legit!
My 2013 John Deere 5045E has always had starter issues. When it was new they replaced it and recently started dragging when starting. Put this one on and it cranked better and faster than ever! If I could give 10 stars I would. Easy to install The price was 1/4th of what John Deere wanted. Highly recommend!! The Bosch ones John Deere uses are junk

Works better than the original
Have a JD 5075e since new. Original starter struggled to turn the motor over . Replacement fit perfect. Performed 100% better and cranked the motor over the speed. A starter from the JD dealership was close to $500, so this aftermarket starter, which performers much better is an awesome value for the money!

this starter fixed my jd 5055e slow starting
original starter on my john deere 5055e had always seemed week, even after replacing the battery. did lots of googling..watch several youtube vids..and found out the factory starters were indeed weak!!! folks recommended replacing it with this unit. an hour to get the old one off/an hour to get the new one on and BOOM--TRACTOR STARTS BETTER THAN EVER!!! not hard to replace JUST HARD TO REACH!! very satisfied with this purchase...

Complete package.
Very good starter, very quick turnover. It comes with the nuts and washers and plastic cover. A pleasure to replace a back starter with this one. Unfortunately, it does not install itself.

Great fit
Starter was bad on my 2016 5065E John Deere tractor. For the price compared to a green one I took a chance and ordered this one. So glad I did was shipped fast and fit perfectly and starts better then it ever did. Will buy again if needed.
