VerveUltra SLS-Free Toothpaste with Fluoride, 4.5 oz.

NO burning tongue or mouth! I have very sensitive mucus membranes since going through chemo (6-years cancer free yay!). I read that sodium laurel phosphate (SLS) can trigger burning mouth, tongue and sores in mouth. I’ve used a few days and so far so good. I like it has fluoride unlike most natural toothpastes.

Wow! I just got and tried this toothpaste for the first time today and its the best I've ever used! It left my mouth feeling fresh and clean and felt good on my teeth and gums also. Every toothpaste I've ever used, including sensitive, natural, etc left my mouth feeling dry and salty. No matter the flavor. This left my mouth refreshed and healthy! I will definately be ordering again!

I've been battling mouth sores for years. I've asked different types of doctors and the dentist, but no one seemed to know what they were. Then I heard about SLS - sodium lauryl sulfate. Even Sensodyne has it in most of the toothpaste line, so still was getting the sores. Tried Verve, and mouth sores went away. But, the mint flavor is almost non-existent, so that is my main beef. Without it, teeth don't feel clean and refreshed. After finished the tube, tried another SLS free toothpaste for dry mouth, and the sores came right back! So it must be more than just SLS. I'm going to have to play detective to find out which ingredient is the cause or one cause. I saw that some of the other ingredients used in toothpastes, such as cocamidopropyl betaine, are also irritants. Verve doesn't have this one in it either. Back to Verve then!

This toothpaste may be good. I never tried it because of an ingredient it has that I have to avoid because of eczema.

If you are looking for an SLS-free toothpaste, you can't do better than Verve. The price is reasonable for a specialty toothpaste. There's enough foam so you feel like it's working. It has a mild mint flavor that even my granddaughter tolerates. And it performs well at keeping me cavity free with the amount of fluoride it contains. I've been using it for several years and will continue to do so.

The media could not be loaded. Nice minty smell and taste. Not foamy because it's SLS free. Helped with my symptoms almost immediately. Only downside is the lid is hard to open. Though you can leave it slightly open and the toothpaste stays fresh.
