Gooby Escape Free Memory Foam Harness, Small Chest (13-17.2"), Blue

Amazon only offers sizes up to large. After ordering the large, it was slightly too small for our Shih Tzu. We returned it and found the manufacturer's web site and found an extra-large. It fits perfectly! I love the escape-free design. It is definitely more comfortable for our dog than previous harnesses we have purchased and it allows for a simpler and quicker method for putting it on the dog. He gets so impatient with the other harnesses.

I have tried many different styles and brands of harnesses for my two medium sized dogs (30 lb Cockapoo and 20 lb Scottish Terrier). Gooby harnesses are by far my favorites. I have several different Gooby styles. They are sturdy yet lightweight and extremely well made. Both of my dogs are pullers and Gooby harnesses stand up to that, even when they spot squirrels! I also wash the harnesses regularly in a mesh bag and line dry them — and they come out looking like new. This particular style is easy for my dogs to step into and the padding makes them extra comfortable, even in our hot humid summers. Highly recommend!

Works great on our pup, seems to be comfy for him. Sporty style. Adjustments stay put well.

I have toy Manchester Terriers who have long slender necks, thin small faces and bigger chest. It has been hard to get a good fit that wasn't too high on neck and too tight but fit chest area securely. These collars fit them down lower at the front of chest and can be securely fitted around girth so they cannot back out of it when you are not paying attention. (this has happened a couple of times and I was left holding a leash and halter but no dog) I also like that the dogs can step into them when we are ready for our walks. No pulling over their heads,So far thie best halters I have found.

My squirmy, young, uncooperative small dog made this a bigger ordeal to adjust than it should have been, but it really solves the problem of him backing out of his harness. That just doesn’t happen with this item. He is a breed susceptible to a collapsed trachea, so I really like how low this harness fits on his chest. It’s a really great product once you get the fit adjusted. Definitely recommend it for escape artists.

My little dog was escape artist from her other harness. Before I could get her hooked up to leash she was out of it. This harness is absolutely wonderful. No more escaping. And it is soft easy to get on. And it stays on

Soft and padded and good color choices but my two guys still slip out of it and the plastic clasp deforms slightly and doesn’t work well or consistently over time. Easy to put on.

My pug slips out of every harness I've ever tried and most of them dug into his rolls and folds and just looked like he was being tortured to death wearing them. This harness fits very nicely and he actually likes to wear it. It can be put on comfortably but he can't slip out. The way it will tighten from the top (where the leash is attached) is brilliant to keep him comfortable and safe. Highly recommend!
