Excellent thread. I have used in a machine and by hand. By hand it does tend to knot a bit but some beeswax helped the issue. It keeps its form well and does not fray like polyester thread. Would buy again.

Bought this thread thinking it would just sit there on the spool until I use it. No way! Not only did it do the sewing for me, it whistled while it worked! Sounded vaguely like Hi-Ho…

I bought this thread for hand-sewing. It was more expensive than the last reel of thread I bought, and I hoped that by spending a little more, I'd get better quality. But no; this thread behaves just like cheap thread. It's very thin, and constantly twists and loops around itself, tying itself into knots every few stitches. Progress is slow because I keep having to stop and untwist.It does the job, and my sewing hasn't fallen apart yet, but it hasn't been fun to do either. Perhaps it would be better on a machine, but next time I'll probably just go to the local store and buy some thread that I can look at first.
