Q: How secure are the wrenches in the tool holder? Would they fall out if it were mounted on a door?

Gravity holds them in so they can’t really fall out, but they could rattle together like wind chimes if you mounted on a door

Q: So I’m supposed to screw the holder into my pegboard? What if my pegboard is metal?

My pegboard is also metal, but it sticks out from the wall about an inch. So I slid a 1"x4" (1"x2" would have worked too) between the wall and the pegboard - supported it in place, and screwed the wrench set holder into that. Worked great!
