Will a printer fit on top?

You can put standard 8 by 11 paper in there so probably a printer won’t fit.

I will be moving from classroom to classroom this year. Would this hold up with rolling around the halls several times per day? Are the wheels sturdy?

Does this come put together?

No it doesn't come put together. You will have to assemble a few parts but it is very simple to do. I use mine for my watercolor painting supplies and I love it. It rolls very easily.
