Crosley CR3502A-BK Metro Bluetooth FM Clock Radio and CD Player, Black

I have two of these now. The footprint is reasonably compact, the sound is very good for equipment of its size, I can play the radio, CDs, and use Bluetooth as well. Couldn't be happier. Perfect for an office (where I have one) or a bedroom. And could even be used in a modestly sized living room in a pinch. And excellent price. Couldn't be more pleased!

I bought this Item so I could play CD's of music in my bedroom. My old one died. This one is working out just fine. I just need to learn how to do some of the functions, Like the radio. But my adult children can help me with that.

A high fidelity sound reproducer the Crosley is not. It seems to be designed to meet basic needs of an average homeowner. Yes, it looks good and is easy to use but it is not a high fidelity sound reproducer by any stretch of the imagination. FM reception was poor. I was unable to pick up several local stations which I frequently listen to. This is with the included FM antenna which is not much of an antenna to begin with. My Tivoli radio on the other hand has an excellent FM tuner and receives many stations both near and far. Volume on the Crosley was not earth shattering either. I returned the Crosley and purchased a reconditioned Yamaha MCR-B020 with which I am immensely happy. Well worth the extra $50. Unfortunately this Yamaha model has been discontinued and is only available reconditioned or used.

Big, full sound.....impressed to say the least !.... beats previous unit by far ! at 1/5th of the price...won't mention brand, u can figure that out....this , to me, is the go too ! HANDS DOWN !

Plays and functions well. Beautiful sound. Appearance could be better. It could have more style in appearance. The buttons are not that self explanatory.

The radio came with military time which was a problem until someone fixed itI’m not getting any good stations only one good one at night. It might be my area but I’m very disappointed because I like to listen to music at nite

I have no idea why the ratings for a CD/radio are for "easy to read", "brightness" or "sleep mode" so I didn't or couldn't address those questions. I would have thought I'd be asked about sound quality and ease of use of the remote, both of which are quite good. This is replacing a 20 year old Bose which died. Not quite as good sound quality but certainly good enough for us for the price. We're pleased with the purchase.
