I'd recommend looking into other options. The otoscope in this kit does not have any magnification so you are not able to visualize the tympanic membrane and the other structures. You can barely see the cone of light (that's how aweful it is)! Not to mention the light in the otoscope obstructs your view!The ophthalmoscope is just as useless. The only thing I am really able to test is the red reflex but I'm unable to see any arteries let alone the optic disc and cone.The shop selling this product knew what they were doing when they chose not to accept any returns....Correction: the shop did reach out and offer a full refund for the faulty product and stated amazon placed that statement. They do offer refunds for faulty products

After showing the product to my wife, she was very pleased. Also, I was told that the previous product that was shipped need not be returned. Very happy with the expedient response and resolution with the issue. 5 stars experience.Update:I had ordered this product for my wife who is a nurse practitioner student. When she started examining the kit, she noticed that the replacement tips were missing. Although I had written a raving review upon initial receipt, I was unaware of the missing part. Therefore I updated my overal rating of this product from 5-star to 1-star based on this incident.
