Wiha 26194 Screwdriver Set, Phillips With Precision Handles, 4 Piece

I thought I was returning the set because the PH000 head was badly defective but it turned out it was the lighting that led me to believe this. I bought the set for the PH00 and the PH000. The 00 looked fine in the light as I twirled it for inspection. I looked at the 000 multiple times and it always looks like two of the fins were mostly missing, so it was closer to a slotted screwdriver than a phillips. I had light coming from both sides but it is a bizarre illusion, that will still appear in that same light. When I turn on one more light, then I can see it clear.Wiha tips are not so pointy as one reviewer pointed out - it wasn't a good fit for him. There isn't a right or wrong style, although I've come to believe that the stated size could be "wrong" for most of these small-sized screwdrivers. I've now played around with many PH000 and PH00 screwdrivers and none of the manufacturers seem to agree on size. I've also found that the shaft width (going into the tip) is normally, if not always, equal to the the (widest) width of the wings of the tip, AND that width does not indicate the size of the screwdriver. The size is in the "tip of the tip" and even there, width isn't the only characteristic that determines size. Frankly, sizing is a mess. I have a very small screw that is my concern, and the Wiha PH000 works on it without damaging it. A couple other PH000's I have will not work, although I have another one that also works, and, (to the eye) it appears near in size to the typically much fatter PH00. Finally, I have a set of quality screwdriver bits and the PH000 in that set, by eye (with magnifying glass), does look to be the same size as the Wiha PH000 (which is pretty darn tiny by the way) - but it does not fit the screw that the Wiha fits. I then tried the PH00 bit and it works even better on the screw that Wiha PH000 works good for.The moral of my story is that you will not know what screwdrivers work on what screws until you try. Each pair. It's a good idea to hang onto different manufacturer screwdrivers of quality..

As the title states, these fit way better on the really small rc screws as the Philip's head is not as pointy as most of the other good brands. I wanted a set of good and long lasting mini screwdrivers and I think I found them. I did buy the leading competitor also and these fit better. The solid non-graduated shank/shaft also aids in fitment on those easy to strip tiny screws. The only negative is the handle could be bigger like the other brand but certainly not a deal breaker. I highly recommend these for small screws and expect them to outlast myself. Would buy em all day long.

These are always what I reach for when I have tech to work on. From a radio to a laptop to an electronic toy, hands down the Wiha screwdrivers are precision made with hardened tops, they minimize strip-outs and maximize positive engagement in screws.I have multiple sets for the shop, at home, and at work. They cost a little more, but it’s hard to put a price on a good tool that gets daily use.

I needed a screwdriver set to open up my computer but the screws were so tiny so this set came in handy. I like the added handles it made it easier to handle

Very nice, hardened steel miniature-Phillips screwdriver set (4 sizes) with magnetic head. The handle is wonderfully designed in a taper that allows fast rotation near the bottom of the handle, and more force near the top of the handle. Designed by Wiha in Germany, fabricated in Poland. I love these screwdrivers (they have a very precise fit) and are a joy to use. The only fault I can find is the cheap plastic container they come in (more a box to ship them in it seems) -- I'd have much preferred a permanent storage case of some sort that fastens the items in place so they don't rattle around in a flimsy plastic carton (I don't think it's going to last very long; I'd have paid a little more for a decent storage case. Again, the screwdrivers themselves are absolutely first rate.

Excellent for computer repair but if as a business then I would go with electric.For a once and a while tear down of a computer this item works very well. You can hold it while youget it to spin in your hand to tighten things down or losen them up. The tip is magnetic and holds the screw. Made in Germany. I don't know how they rate with craftsman but I've been doing electronics for a while and I like this tool. Some are very small that I will maybe never use and some are big that maybe I'll never use, however. I used the #00 size philips and it fit like a glove to tear apart a netbook. I took the thing a part two times and had some connector issues, but this worked like a charm. Didn't loose any screws, drop any screws, fling any screws, have to dig for any screws. Tip fit inside nice and magnetic tip held the screws until I got them where they needed to go. I could have sacrificed two of them though for a flat tip or two. The smallest and the biggest could have went. So I had to buy another set and that was of the metal handle type. These were half as much in price but don't have no magnet (small precision set-both philips and flat), didn't fit quite as well and has a small handle that make unscrewing a little difficult for torque. So this set here rated much better but doesn't come with a flat as well as other sizes I don't need or probably won't use. It could have been better but worked very well.

I’m very pleased with the quality of these screwdrivers. They fit well in my hands and they engage the screws perfectly.I was a bit concerned due to reviews that stated there was no PH000 size included. The product’s photo seemed to reinforce this assertion, but apparently the seller has corrected the issue.
