Excellent product & easy use once fitted.I am a gent in my 60s & with many years of engineering & DIY under my belt. I tell you this, as I fitted this lift ladder on my own!It wasn’t particularly easy & as was to move the loft access to another area of the ceiling, I had another easy access to the loft via the original hole.I cut the hole in the ceiling & set up a pulley system with flat straps, to raise into position. I then used correct lengths of timber to prop the corners at the correct height & screwed the frame to the joists.I removed the end piece of the ladders before cutting, to ensure correct measurement before cutting to length (angled to fit squarely on the floor) & re-fitted.Purchased two lengths of architrave to suit & job done!Safety first & careful planning !!

This said next day delivery, it was not...when it did turn up, opened, and found one corner damaged, but I just screwed it back together. I took the hatch door off, then removed ladders from frame, this made just the hatch frame lighter. Cut hole to size, then fitted frame. ( best two people) then fit ladders to frame. (for me ladders was too long, just cut bottom to size) next fit springs (for this, one person in loft, other to lift ladders up) next, fit hatch cover, filler any gaps, paint, and done!!!!! Took two a day, steady away. PS A lot of dust/plaster etc. But worth it, now we can access loft space with ease!!!!!!!

Honestly chuffed to bits with this product I'm pushing 60 years and my Wiffy Says I'm too old...too fat....and the step ladder in the hallway was a pain in the Rrrr's , we needed a folding sprung strong wooden loft access solution.Boom 💥 💥 💥 💥...job done and I've got a good few cuddle credits for my work...Okayyyyy I also bought a tool belt didn't need it🤫 but come on we all know boys NEVER grow up we just get older and battery drills are like guns slinging badboys when you have a belt...right????I watched a few DIY videos and after getting a £600+VAT quote for a professional service I just had to give it a go...Third of the price and a really happy wife my life ROCKS🤘

This is a really great sturdy loft ladder. Easy to install (with help) and comes with a loft hatch cover. The treads on the ladder are a good depth - much more user friendly.

not the easiest loft ladder to install but when done fantastic piece of kit well made and easy to use.took longer to deliver than quoted but at these testing times nobodies perfect.

I bought this item to replace a rickety old set of stairs that took up lots of space in the room and were slightly scary to use. These ladders were relatively easy to install and feel very safe and steady to use.

Arrived slightly damaged but no reply back from seller. In general good product
