Perfect!
I've been running in this for a few months and its perfect! I did a lot of research before going for this. Very lightweight, does not ride up, easy to adjust the straps. Loads of pockets so plenty of storage, pockets are either elasticated or zipped so no worries about losing anything. Loops for key etc - they really have thought of everything with this. I've run in temperatures between 28c and 2c - not sweaty, really comfortable. Comes with 2 super light soft bottles 500ml each - I usually just take one half filled as my usual runs are up to 10k over the past couple of months. The water bottles smell a bit synthetic to start but I just filled and rinsed them a few times and they were fine. They are very thin so need to be careful about storage. There is plenty of scope to load this backpack up for longer runs and I will be looking forward to doing that as I progress. I would say it is more like wearing a 'vest' rather than a packpack. I have previously used a running belt and that was fine for short local runs but I was reluctant to use a packpack thinking the straps would be uncomfortable across my chest - this is very comfortable. This is really worth the money. I am looking forward to running my first half in this in the New Year!

Quality running vest.
I have owned this for well over 2 years now and it has seen a lot of action running in high temperatures. The fit adjustment is really good and have suffered no rubbing issues or load bouncing uncontrollable. I usually run with one bladder, iPhone pro max, EarPods case and keys or pass in the pockets, so plenty of storage for such a minimalist vest. Clips on the back for attachment of a small light for night running if required. Gets washed regularly as it’s normally drenched wet with sweat and it’s showing no signs of wear and tear. Absolute bargain for the quality with the 2 bladders included.Would highly recommend and would definitely buy another one again, but that could be some time judging so far by it robustness.

More of the same from Salomon
If you are familiar with the Salomon hydration vests then you have the right expectation.Great piece of kit that I use for my 2-3 hour runs, light weight but gives me the hydration and nutrition I need over that length of time. Anything longer and you may be pushing it a bit unless you racing and build a strategy around seconders and aid stations.I can get my light jacket in the back (there is a key holder too) and up front you have space for 2 x 500ml flasks (included with wide caps) and the elastic clip around s to hold in place. There are another 2 pockets over the flask sections for limited storage and a zip section on the right. It’s a bit fiddly the first time you use it as you need to set the strap length for the sides (do this first so when on you can pull the front straps tight accordingly). The top front strap on mine loosens from time to time, Salomon appear to yet have got this nailed on any of their vests.POINT TO FLAG - I got this for my longer runs as I wanted to take my phone and listen to my audiobooks & playlists etc but my phone is too big for the zipper section. I have an iPhone 11 Pro. I have actually dropped one of my flasks out and I stick my phone in there now

Absolutely perfect running vest, so comfortable!
I'd been searching around for ages for a running vest that doesn't have a big bulky pocket section on the back, but also has space for x2 500ml bottles on the front. Well this is perfect. I'm so happy with it, Salomon do not disappoint! This is the most comfortable hydration running vest I've ever used, I ran for 3 hours last weekend and it didn't rub me at all. It's so lightweight I even forgot I was wearing it at one point!!The added bonus is that the 2 500ml bottles are included (they're quite pricey on their own) so it is definitely worth the money. There's ample space to carry a few of my running gels, keys and tissues. Bit of a shame my iphone 11 is slightly too big to fit in the zip pocket (I'd noticed this from other reviews), but I just tucked it into one of the bottle pouches, it was fine and didn't bounce around at all. The straps on the side are very long once I'd adjusted to fit my size (for ref. I'm a small size 8) but I just folded them into the small pocket on the back. I honestly think this is the best bit of running kit I've bought in a long time! At first I did think it's pricey (it's Salomon after all) but with the 2 bottles it's very good value for money. And thanks to the seller for posting so quickly, it arrived within a couple of days, wow! :)

I love the vest but it's broken already
This is the absolute best vest for me, I took a long time trialling and researching for the best product for my needs. However, I've used it about 5 times and one of the straps holding in one of the bottles has broken already. The product website has said I need to sort it with Amazon but cannot find a way to contact them about this?! It's really frustrating and they are an investment so not cheap!

Almost, but not, very good.
I bought this to carry a phone, keys, a few gels and close to a litre of water in hot weather. I can't carry that much in my belt and my normal vest, though fairly small, was making me to hot. This did quite well at that, less surface are covered and some of that was still more breathable. It was a bit bouncy up front, but I had all the weight there and I think the answer would be to put one of the soft flasks in the back pocket until you finished the water in the front flask. After a bit you don't notice the bouncing anyway, you just get used to it.I found my arms were rubbing slight on the side straps at one point but adjusting the straps sorted that out, so no problem. The negative is that there is a big stitched hem around the edge of the vest. This rubs against your neck and the top of your back which gets annoying. With a heavy t-shrt you won't notice it, but the point of this was to have something light and breathable for hot weather when you'll be wearing avery light and sleeveless shirt. That's my view anyway. I've seen cheap chinese vests that are better thought out, and my old Salomon vest was much better made to avoid rubbing.
