I got two of these, one for each floor, and they provide enough space for one handgun with spare ammo, quick access, and peace of mind. I have a big safe that can withstand determined attack for longer than these quick access boxes, but the big safe can’t be accessed as fast as these. Sure, these won’t stop determined attacker, I can open these without keys/code/fingerprint at least three different ways. But these are not designed to withstand a determined attack. These are designed to provide you quick access to your firearms in convenient location, while preventing children from accessing the firearms or buying you extra time if robbers happen to find one of these while you are in a different room with firearm in one hand and phone in the other.

I wanted something I could put on my nightstand that would be easily accessible yet still extremely secure as I have two toddlers running around my house. The safety of my children will always be my first concern, and this safe has really calmed my fears about a gun in the house. It has three options to open so if you are panicked and can’t remember your code, you can scan your finger or use the key to open it. Everything is as described, would highly recommend this safe to anyone with a handgun.

I'm quite pleased with the quality, weight, durability and mechanics of this safe. My 1911 and a spare mag fit nicely, with room for other small items. The keypad and finger print reader have so far worked flawlessly. And it bolts easily to a platform. I have read the review and watched the "instructional video" (thanks for that, by the way...) covering how to break into this safe, and I will attempt a modification accordingly. That being said, for what it is, it's a fine product.

The safe is built well and is sturdy. A huge downside is the fact that the manual and safe are difficult to align. In addition to beeping notifications, the manual outlines light responses red, blue, and purple responses. During setup, only red lights were apparent. Programming could be easier. Newer models do not have the standard reset button, and requires a code to reset the digital combination, which makes resetting the code difficult if you lose or forget the code. A great option for personal security protection. Worth the pice of purchase, pay attention to the deliberate programming requirements.

Must have to protect your family and to secure your weapon. Set up was pretty easy, holes are there for bolting onto furniture or the wall.

Awesome safe but awful packaging. Every safe is damaged by the poor packaging. I am returning two of these. 1st had one of the plastic ring around the keypad scratched/chipped. Had Amazon send another. This time a section of the top coat was chipped off. Both areas align to where the keys are placed the manufacturer uses a cheap, thin bubblewrap. You can tell there are holes in each wrap from the keys pressing through. Then this damages each safe. If this was a $50 safe I could except the damages, but for $140 I expect a safe in perfect condition. If you can buy this local do so and open it first to inspect the area around the keypads. It’s worth it if you can find an undamaged version. I really hope the manufacturer reads this review and fixes their packaging. Functionally it is a great safe but just poorly packaged.
