Excellent, hands on example of how steam engines really worked.
This thing is awesome. It does take a bit if sanding, some patience, and a good eye but the result is well worth the effort. It will run full speed from a vacuum motor without any issues whatsoever.. glue and sand paper are required and are not included. That is the only downside.

This is an interesting design, it does take some care to make it operate. It would be a good STEM project for middle school or high school classes.
