Very convenient way to carry your ESSEE 6 in the field.
I bough this mainly to use for my Essee 6 and it works well. Glad I baught it. Your knife still remains in it's plastic dare I say or kydex sheat and it is easy to add it to the canvas sheath.

Doesn't fit the esee molly back
It's a good pouch but the rivet holes for the molly back and esee 4 won't line up so you can't attach it to the outside of the sheath as I thought you could.

looks and feels stiff and sturdy
Pricy but it does exactly what its supposed to. I used other mole straps and they have all come undone because they are cheap chinezium. Will see how this handles a full ruck strapped.Pros: very stiff and variable two part mole strap that fits exactly to the sheathCon: price is high for what it does considering the price of the knife

Great durable backing.
For those wondering it does fit the ESEE LaserStrike. Added pictures. Weighs about 4 ounces. Mine came with 4 screws. Seems durable and appears to have a plastic piece in the back to maintain rigidness. The real key part is it lowers the knife from your belt which is a huge bonus to utility compared to the stock clip plate on the LaserStrike... plus the snap allows for a much lighter tension on the kydex retainer (I don't use the top cover for bonus retention, I'm not jumping from a plane). My only complaint is the price at $50... come'on ESEE.

This is a SHEATH BACK for Molle mounting, NOT a full sheath!
For this item, the actual sheath is this product: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YTUQTA2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I would be interested to hear if the item I bought, which does not have the rounded snap for securing the hilt that is pictured with this item. It instead has the square, dangerously pointy buckle type clasp (I'll add pics later). I would like to hear from ESEE if this is now their official product or if I somehow got a knock-off that says it was ESEE and made in the USA. If so, how is the fake company listing themselves as ESEE on Amazon? Seems fishy if that's the case.Anyway, for what this product actually is: it is basically a molle platform that you attach the hard-plastic sheath parts to (linked above), and I also attached the survival tin kit holder pouch. All of that went together very snugly and seems extremely tough and durable, so other than that lame buckle/clasp for the hilt, I love this product.I gave it three stars because the title of the product is misleading, and the buckle clasp sucks and is not what was pictured. The title should say this is a molle-system mounting platform for the ESEE sheath, sold separately. I didn't know that until I received this item and figured out, hey, there's no freaking place to actually secure the blade with this thing. So I had to shell out for the sheath, and I don't mind, my ESEE 5 is a tank of a knife that I'll be able to heirloom-gift to my sons as long as I take care of it.Further notes: Like many highly durable products, this is very stiff when you get it, and the screws are just long enough to secure the sheath and the survival kit pouch, so setup will probably be frustrating and take a while, but once you have everything put together and secured to whatever you're securing it to, it will basically sit there like a tank resisting everything you throw at it.
