What are the Exact measurements of the record player compartment, looking for actual measurements?

The record player compartment has a 21inch length ( right side to left), a 14.5 inch width(front to back), and a 6.25 inch depth. On the other side of the cabinet--be careful when purchasing a receiver or amplifier--ours barely fits on the width--because of the knobs! There is a little more width on the receiver side--it's about 15.25 inches.

Ate there shelves on the side opposite te records/record player?

Yes there are adjustable shelves in the side opposite the record player shelf (which is not adjustable). Beautiful console. Very high quality for the price - great value.

Can you flip the pieces so that the record stand is adjustable? My record player is about 1/2" to 3/4" too tall for the fixed shelf.

The shelf for the turntable (the side with the top that flips up) is NOT adjustable. The depth is 6 3/16". Reversing the internal divider panel is not feasible. This is a MAJOR disappointment as I need 7 1/2" depth for my turntable. I am writing this as I try to assemble so I am left with two options: attempt to drill new holes which would void the warranty or return it. Not looking forward to either. BE CAREFUL to measure your components before purchase.

Could Amazon and Crosley do us a favor by separating comments on the two products and adding sheets w. inside/outside dimensions of each compartment?
