Great boat
I use this boat daily as a tender and I’ve had it for several months now. The first day I used it I wanted to return it! Lol It takes a little getting used to before you feel comfortable in it and begin to trust it. The bean bag Joe chair from walmart made this boat soooo much better as you have a stable low to the floor seat. I highly recommend it if you buy this boat. It handles large chop and rough weather like a boss. Almost feels like it has suspension. I have a 5hp Honda and it goes 13mph which feels plenty fast on the water. The thing I like the most about it is that it’s self baling. It can rain all day and I still come home to a dry boat! It’s not as great for 2 people as you have to go a bit slower to stay dry but nonetheless it will haul what ever you want with no real problems. It’s a very dry boat for one person. You have to be a bit cautious on super windy days driving directly into the wind but most of you should be out on those days anyways unless your like me and you live on the water on a mooring and you have to get home. It feels very durable and I would say my daily use is rough on it. I would definitely recommend it.

Innovative design and decent quality for the price.
I bought this boat on impulse and curiosity as I had not seen an inflatable of this catamaran design before. I have been a boat owner for many years and wanted something easily transported and stored that could carry a family with pets. This boat easily carried two adults, two teenagers, along with two dogs comfortably. I only had my 2.5hp outboard, but it adequately powered the fully laden vessel through a river and marinas to Long Island Sound, albeit at a slow but steady pace. The catamaran design is a compromise. The boat has tons of room. It also makes it easy for swimmers and swimming dogs to board. However, if a passenger is too close to the bow of the boat while underway, the boat can easily be swamped by a wave or wake. While swamped, the catamaran will still be afloat but it is tedious to pull the drain plugs and to get the water back out. One of the one way valves for the drain holes has already broken off, the the quality of some components is not great. However, this boat is well worth the money. I would recommend at-least a 6hp outboard for this boat.

Solid Boat
Quick response to my shipping question- we received in time for our trip.Boat is well built PVC option. We were at a rocky/shelled shore in the PNW and I preferred this to the inflatable keels for the reinforcement on the tubes- very beefy. It allowed us to beach this craft every night with no issues. We used a 6hp- with one person I was ripping on plane. The boat tracks well and actually rows well too. I crabbed from this platform and had no problem standing and pulling pots- very stable. With multiple 3+, people you need to be careful of your positioning. Too far forward and you will take some water over the bow. On the plus side this boat is self bailing, as the floor is above the water level.Overall- very happy and a perfect boat for active use- swimming, diving, crabbing, etc.

I want to love it, but it's coming apart and unsafe
I have owned this bris catamaran for 4 years and 5 months. I used it 5 times during first two years. After each use I deflated it and stored inside my garage. It remained stored until couple months ago. The glued seams, most of boat is glued, are failing. Worst is stern. Glued seams at stern are COMPLETELY SEPARATED!! Too much failure to continue trying to reglue. UNSAFE TO USE. WASTED my money buying a bris. WEAR a life preserver and remain close to shore if you are going to risk a bris purchase.

Great wet boat for swimming, lake cruising, and whatever else you think of
After extensive research on all types of crafts, I purchased the cat-raft. My criteria was that it needed hold 2 people, cooler, and a dog. It easily does all of that. I'm 6'1 230 lbs and I fit comfortably on the boat with stadium seat I attached to the bench. The ride can get a little wet especially if a person or dog is on the bow, but the boat drains easily while paddling and in my case I put a 55lb thrust trolling motor on it. The trolling motor has plenty of power, I can have a fully loaded boat and tow my lazy kayak friends behind with no issue. Its a great swim deck and that probably my favorite part about it. Great boat. Its also light and my GF and I just put it on the top of my SUV. When deflated I can hoist it into the car on my own. Its about 95lbs so you have to be a man-child like myself to operate it on your own.

It's a fun little boat!
We run a 7.5 Hp motor. It will plane with 1 person & sometimes with 2 on calm water. The main thing is to air it up to the proper PSI. Especially the floor. Also get a Bimini top for it. This is the one we bought. It fits perfectly. - Seamander Inflatable Boat Bimini Tops,Rib Boat Cover with Mounting Hardware (Burgundy, 2 Bow 150 x 115 x 100cm for Rib)

Buy a better quality reinforced boat ,you get what you pay for
I like boat , it would be easy to get hole in it on sharp object, would not buy another one that is not reinforced with fabric, fast boat ,had it to do over would not buy it, boat is to heavy for one person to man handle without wheel kit or trailer would be the best way to move boat 112 lbs. plus wt. Of outboard ,fuel, safety equipment, you need it on trailer or keep on back of large boat

planes easily, and is very easy to get on and ...
This little boat is well built, planes easily, and is very easy to get on and off of. I have an 8hp 2 stroke on the boat and it moves it along quite nicely. So far, I am happy with this boat.
