Q: what type of replacement cartridge or filters are best to fit this respirator?

A more accurate answer is that the filter is a two stage unit. The outer filter is a particulate filter that can be replaced (search 07194 3M) and an active carbon filter that cannot be replaced, at least safely. If you plan to use it in a high dust low fume application then I would recommend buying a pack of the particulate filters. Otherwise the carbon filter will likely fail prior to the particulate filter stopping up.

Q: Does it come with the filters?

The Organic vapor filters are built into the respirator and cannot be replaced. Included with the respirator are particulate filters that mount over the top of the organic vapor filters. If I remember correctly, I believe there is an extra set of the particulate filters. The organic vapor filters are not replaceable on this respirator.

Q: Will it protect from pesticides such as temprid fx ?

My experience with this mask is that it is the entry level mask for the occasional spray of laquers and poly's. I can still smell laquers through the mask but it definitely knocks it down and keeps the particulates out of my lungs. If I was using pesticides I would invest into something more heavy duty with the can filters. Or you could get the 3m base mask (no cartridge) and then get a set of the Multi Gas/Vapor Cartridge/Filters for like 25 bucks. I would trust those more than the thin white filters. Just my opinion though. Q: Interested ,but how do you no if you need a medium or large ?

If you are an average size American male, the large should fit fine. It is adjustable, so it usually works well. If you have a particularly small head or narrow face, then the medium may be a better choice for you.
