Why is my twist and shape machine squeaking?

Because the machine has no bearings so after a while when the metal starts heating up it expands and rubs together. I have had two of these machines and the same thing has happened on both. My husband took the machine apart and modified it by adding bearings so the surfaces don’t rub together and now it’s fine. I wrote a few times to Thane ( the makers of the machine) to explain this but all they said was use WD40 which is no use at all because that is not the problem. The problem is the machine wasn’t engineered properly in the first place so you have metal grinding on metal and this starts to happen if the machine gets used regularly. I use it 4 times a week and it started squeaking really loudly so they sent me another one and the same thing happened. Thane are not interested. Hope this makes sense.

How much does the twist and shape weigh?

Approx 5 - 10 kilos, I haven't weighed it. It's easy to pick up and move around.

Is the max weight more on the delux than the standard cus the standard picture says 100kg only..but then someone has answerd 150kgs

You'll find after a while it will start making a bad squeaking noise. I had to take it apart and rebuild it. Now it work better.
