The Best Heating Pad I’ve Ever Used – Worth Every Penny!
This is one of my absolute favorite things! I’m on my third purchase—not because it wears out, but because I love it so much. I replaced my first one a few years ago, and even my teen daughter has one now. I’ll never go back to a regular heating pad again! The UTK Far Infrared Heating Pad is next-level. Unlike traditional heating pads that just warm the surface, this one penetrates deep into muscles and provides lasting relief. The far infrared heat feels soothing, therapeutic, and incredibly effective—perfect for relaxation, muscle recovery, or just staying cozy.If you’re on the fence, trust me—this is a game-changer. I wouldn’t be without it!

Just in time for the holidays!
The media could not be loaded. Are you looking for a good gift for that one person that complains why they can't do anything because they are too sore? Well this is a good gift to get that person (lol)! OR... If your like me and have back and neck aches/stiffness that come and go sporadically to where you don't wanna move, try this out. I typically buy those basic heating pads and those shiatsu over chair machines only to get poor and painful results. The basic heating pad never seems to do anything for me but warm your body and the shiatsu back massagers only target the area you purchased it for while try to endure the hard heated plastic balls digging ferociously into your back leaving behind literally, bruising of the tissues. I decided to give the UTK heading pad with integrated stones a chance since nothing has come close to a traditional hand massage. Let me tell you, the way the warm stones pinpoint locations helps relieve the muscle tension really well. I felt my back sink flat (self diagnosed pelvic tilt lol) as my body weight pressed the warmth into my muscles without extreme force. The only way I can describe the relaxing of my stiff back and neck is like the first plunge into a warm bath or jacuzzi. I recommend trying it out, be sure to figure out the size you want by knowing what areas you need it for most. Read the included literature so you know the technology behind your purchase. As far a build quality, I've posted a video which show how robust the control, wires plug ends, and materials are. I chose the largest size because I don't travel often and I can use it rolled up for my neck, flat or arched for my back and sometimes just to walk on to help my feet. Hope this helps anyone looking for something like this!

Great Product - built to last - update: last about 4 years.
This product works very much as advertised. It is well made (with one small exception, as I will explain) and it works to provide deep, relaxing and restorative heat into even some very thick places in the body.I have now probably bought 5 or six of these pads, and this is my favorite brand. I have also encouraged a number of other people to get them. This particular mat - the 38 inch long mat, with the somewhat smaller stones really is my favorite. It is big enough - even for me, a six foot tall XL man, to soak up my tissue with heat from about the tops of my thighs in back, near the seat-fold, to the tops of my shoulders. I always feel great afterwards, and I often don't even mind if it's a warm night; I still will use this pad.As I say, there is a shortcoming worth mentioning: my wife has this pad, and lies on it in bed every night. Over several years of daily use, the faux leather that makes up the border of the face of the pad has succumbed to her pyjamas. It is now coming apart, and leaving coin sized pieces of rubbery vinyl around the bed. Not a deal breaker. But not ideal. Once it is fully worn off, it will look a little like dark canvas. Expect the pad will keep going at least a couple more years. At what point is the cost per day about 5¢? Somewhere around the 5-year mark, I'm guessing. So yeah. Get this pad. There's a newer version. Not quite big enough for me.If you get this one, and wear it out, get another. It'll still take you a while. Quite a while.

Worth it
This really relaxes the muscles. We keep it on the back of an easy chair and take turns in that chair each night! It completely relieves my back pain. My older partner says it helps his and feels wonderful. (It does feel wonderful!) It is a big expense for a heating pad so I researched for a few weeks before buying it. I am glad I ordered it. We are taking it with us in the RV this summer. Hopefully it will help make long days of driving easier! A few comments: it needs time to heat the stones so we turn it on about 10 minutes before using. The stones stay warm for a while after it is turned off but never hot enough to burn anyone. The instruction manual is interesting but we didn't find it helpful for use. I looked online to find what temp to start out with - we started at 120. I like it at 130 now, but my partner prefers 120. Also, while the company states this can be used for shoulders and neck we found it difficult. We bought the largest one (as our main use is the back area) and it is pretty heavy and unwieldy. It flexes and bends but doesn't really wrap around small areas like the neck. We drape it over one shoulder and side of neck, then switch to the other. It's awkward, but it works. (We just couldn't justify spending extra money for the neck version as well as this version.) Lastly, again - it is heavy. We manage it but it isn't quite as easily portable as we had hoped. We are happy with it though and I'm glad i got it. Lovely to have this in the chair at the end of the day!
