Technically the PS3 can recognize PS4 controllers, but they have limited functionality depending on the game. Luckily this corrects that and the ps4 controller plays just like a ds3, even the PS button works. Can't detect any input lag.I haven't tried it on PC as I use DS4Windows for that, but I can't see a reason it won't work as well. I'm personally very satisfied with my purchase.

For anyone looking to connect a SONY Navagation controller to your PC wireless ly and use it as a WASD controller, this adapter works on Win10. All you have to do is connect the adapter to your PC then plug the wire to the controller and the adapter with the usb cable for like 10 sec and then you can disconnect the wire and the controller will reconnect after a few seconds on its own and you are all set. Note, you will need rewasd app and antimicroX app to map your controller!

Everything works on the adapter I received, but the Siaxis on the ps3 remotes does not work, but for the cost it still works great for the other game machines and controllers

It worked ok when it was plugged in except you had to keep rebluetoothing it if you ever unplugged it. Also it was left unplugged and in my drawer and I go to plug it in and bam its dead, tried my laptop bam nothing turned it on. I didn't even abuse it and usually im pretty abusive with my gaming equipment, so like that made it even worse. Didn't even get the enjoyment of destroying it.

What I liked was it is truly blog n play ,no looking for drivers just plug it in I have a old intell single core ,played madden 22 did not buffer did not glitch, was cool my laptop has no wifi so with the dongle and a free program it worked great the best part it's like $ 10 good luck ...... DC

I had a ps3 guitar hero controller and it wouldn’t connect without the dongle.Also it fell apart after like 30s but was able to snap back together

I was looking for an adapter for my playstation 3 system. The controllers that came with that generation were not meant to last very long.I bought this adapter, and now I can use one of the listed controllers (1 at a time per adapter) to play my old games.If only Sony would take backwards compatibility as seriously as its competition, and save us all the hassle.

I used my usb adapter with a Playstation 4 controller on my PC, all you have to do is switch it to PC, and it just works.
