Hurt my finger nd needed to wear one of these for 8 weeks. I liked that you get a lot of sizes. The velcro strips only seemed to last a bout one week and then stopped holding. I switching to using Coban instead. I also found my skin turned a bit white wearing constantly so I put strips of Micropore surgical tape underneath. I am on my last week and have used just one the whole time.

I wanted these to work but they were too loose on my fingers.

My husband used it a lot and it helps to have several of this so that he has a spare anywhere he goes! The splint itself is also durable and good enough when compared to a customized one because I used to make one like this at my work.

Product is good but the Velcro strap is kind of worthless. I removed it within a day as it doesn't have a firm enough grip to hold the splint in place without slippage. And the splint actually fell off after getting wet. But I don't believe any brand having the Velcro strap would hold the splint in place well enough. Just remove the Velcro and use tape. Many brands have a slit down the top which I assume is for easier application. However this slit cuts into the finger after a period of time and is quite painful. To eliminate this problem put a small bandaid on the knuckle under where the slit would be.

Yep, you read that right! And the splint my husband was wearing from the hospital made it to where he couldn't use his finger at all. Since he will probably be in this splint for at least a year, (tiny slivers of shattered bone that's inoperable), we wanted something that would not only give him the protection he needed but allow him to have use of his hand and these splints do the job.

Had mallet finger of my middle finger and within a few days started wearing this 24/7 for 6 weeks.Positives -- 1) With 3 in the pack and being plastic, I was able to shower with it on and rotate each day (held up the tip of my finger and slid on and off, didn't keep adjusting the velcro); 2) Fit snugly enough that it generally wasn't at risk of falling off during normal activity.Negatives -- 1) It got pretty slippery when wet and slid off in the shower the second day I had it (I never figured out a way to tape it to make it more secure); 2) The shape and snug fit ended up irritating my skin where it was constantly in contact with the plastic; 3) It kept my finger stable, but in a position that the tip of my finger wasn't fully extended so still drooped some after the 6-week period (I switched to a different splint afterward that was designed to raise / fully extend the tip of my finger and after 4 more weeks it came out straight).

Does not seem to fit my fingers I have very white knuckles
