It’s just better than a bic
I love it. It’s great. Everyone needs one. Seriously why buy a bunch of plastic lighters that you throw away or why mess with lighters you have to refill when you can have this one that works flawlessly AND looks awesome? The charge is more than adequate for frequently lighting candles and it charges fully in about an hour. I’ve had mine for a few months now and only needed to charge it twice. It’s a must have for candle lovers and would make a great gift. The button is easy to push for those with joint issues. My mom has arthritis and love candles but sometimes struggles with regular lighters. This button is easy to push but also safe enough to toss it into a drawer without fear of it turning on.I can’t wait to give some out as gifts!!

Perfect device just as all the 5 star reviews state
If I must state a dislike, I would have to say that I wish I did not have to press the on an off button 3xs to get it on and off. But, seriously, it's really not that big of a problem. This gismo really works as advertised and it has maintain a good charge. I bought mine for lighting my gas stove. All the self lighting mechanism no longer workers for 5 out of 6 burners. To replace the mechanism is not worth the cost. I have been using it every day for the past 3+ weeks and its going without needing a recharge.

Antiquated Micro USB instead of USB C....come on guys....
It works like all of the other Arc/Plasma lighters out there, but uses old charging connectors, micro USB. Too cheap to bother returning it, which they might be counting on, but I'd steer towards something else if you haven't bought one yet. The last annoyance is marketed as a benefit, 3 pushes to ignite.Mine arrived with all of the electrodes bent in varying directions, but they were easy enough to straighten.

Very neat & clean way to light candles
I like that it’s simple to use, doesn’t use anything flammable to power, and it has the right angle. So happy it doesn’t cause dark stain up side of a jar. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lighter.

It just works!
When I first saw this I was skeptical. Figured why not give it a shot. It works great. All the stuff I used to use those long reach lighters for this does and no more buying those throw away lighters. Lasts for a long time and just plug it in a cell phone cord and it charges right back up. Will buy a couple more to keep around.

Best and most reliable plasma arc lighter I've used
Ive always been fascinated by rechargeable and plasma arc lighters. Ive gotten some a few years ago for Christmas. They worked well at first, but then two out of three them stopped working/holding a charge. Saw this one on sale during Prime day in July, along with relatively positive reviews and ordered. The lighter has two plasma arcs and lights candles with ease. There is a single button with indicator light that you press •3 times• to turn it *on(standby). Press and hold *when on to light. Press •3 times• again to turn *off. It’s a good system IMO as it prevents it from turning on by itself. So far the battery life is impressive and still working to this day.

Poor design
Poor design. The package arrived in a minimalist white box with very little branding on the exterior; I take from this that the product was designed to be sold over the internet, fine by me, it's 2020. I open it up to the entire lighter is rigid, I don't know why but I expected the neck to flex. The box also contains a short 6 inch micro usb cable packaged along side the lighter, both are wrapped in small plastic bag, no frills packaging and the unboxing was easy, I prefer this as I won't be looking at the packaging for more then a few seconds. The lighter itself has two plastic stickers on the handle with warnings and usage information on it, I read the lables, remove them and press the clear button on the side, the button lights up but the lighter does nothing. I fiddle with the lighter and discover that it intermittently turns on when I push the button, futher it appears to only SOMETIMES function when I press a specific corner of the small clear button. The lighter still works, I purchased it to light candles and it does that job well when it bothers to turn on. I like the idea but the intermittent function of the device is frustrating and it feels flimsy. Overall I'm disappointed, I was hoping it would "just work".
