I teach classes on evidence-based training and am recommending this very readable book to all instructional professionals in the public or private sector. Based on a wealth of research on instructional methods and learning processes, the book is interesting with short chapters and brief descriptions of the evidence.

After reading it three times now I'm still trying to get my head around the opportunities for developing teaching and learning within it. Like with his other tomes, this is a must-read and is really informing my practice.

Definitely the best book about learning that I would recommend to someone so far. It explain a few of the most important concept in a clear, concise manner with references for anyone interested in going further. What is in this book is also supported by a huge amount of up to date research. Even for experienced teacher, and learning specialists, this book totally worth reading.
