A must have to reduce bad taste due to tannin!
You need an extra stage with this anion media to remove bad taste from your water if your water supply has tannin. If your sediment filter turns yellowish orange or brown, and your water has a strange after taste, then you have tannin. I spent hundreds on alkaline, polishing, expensive RO filters with little improvement in water quality. Finally, after almost giving up, I decided to experiment with this anion resin. Here, the improvement in water quality was undeniable!BTW, I live in a SW state with high mineral concentrations and old plumbing. I added my anion stage downstream from a water softener, but upstream from my 6 stage RO unit. Make sure to add your anion stage downstream from your water softener. Otherwise, you'll exhaust your anion media very quickly.

Handled removal of some tough acids
I used these to remove trace amounts of residual Sulfuric Acid, and it worked well! I have been pleasantly surprised at how well it has held up for this application.
