The replacement sharpener blade kit contains two small blades which it is clear are specifically designed to be installed (with no great difficulty) only in the “AnySharp” tool which is described here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/AnySharp/page/C3CECCE0-6C63-4A13-9778-C2E97A1F339F?ref_=ast_bln . Using these two replacement blades successfully in any other setting is very hard to imagine. Good luck to you if you try, but prepare to be disappointed.

The need to replace the blades will surely depend on how much (and how ) the sharpener has been used over time - either since new, or since the last blade replacement. For normal domestic use, I have found this interval to be measured in multiple years.
