Pretty simple tool, but if you are doing controlled burns of grass or timber they work great

Smothers Fires Better than Boots!
We have several of these in a central location in case of brush fires on our large property. Although they are a bit heavy with use, they are sturdy and do the job of beating out fires. Great in areas where there is no water available. Much more surface area and works better than trying to stomp out a fire with your boots!
