Does this mouse come with a unifying receiver or a generic receiver?

This mouse does NOT come with a unifying receiver, and it is NOT compatible with the unifying receiver that all my other Logitech M185 mice use. I just found this out the hard way. Don't buy it!

Does it have Battery status light (green/red)?

yes, green on for a while after starting to use the mouse and sold red if battery should be replaced

can I get 2 of these mice; one for home and one for work, and use one USB reciever for both or are they on different frequencies

No you can not. I just bought 2 and each one has it's own usb
