How is cleaning these? I bought “standard” reusable containers and cannot get the tiny crevices of the plunger clean (old deodorant out).

A thorough cleaning was fairly easy. I just applied hot, but not boiling water to the containers once emptied, and the residual contents emptied out. Then just a small amount of soap and water to finish cleaning, rinse, and let dry.
