Small sapling
I love the color. It is very small.

Tiny, 10" at best. Same price for a 36-48" plant at box stores.
$58, thought it would at least be plantable. This is smaller than a house plant. I'd be scared to put it out side. It's pretty though. The box is what the plant came in, not very secure like other amazon plants.

BEWARE! Scam seller sells grafts not what you think you’re buying!
This was described and sold as a 3-yr Twombley’s Sentinel Japanese maple. It is a grafted seedling and it hasn’t even healed. I paid 50+ dollars for a twig that already has the root stock species growing up and will soon shroud the part of the tree that I actually THOUGHT and was promised to receive! Don’t waste your money, time or hopes by ordering from this seller.

Beautiful
My little tree arrived well packaged. It was off season so I knew it would not have any leaves. It’s been in my greenhouse for a few months now and has started growing some beautiful leaves. Yes, this thee is grafted- that’s normal and I have other plants that are grafted trees.

Healthy, but broken by stuffed animal
Should have spent more money and gotten a bigger tree from elsewhere. Tree was healthy, but small as others commented. Got it in the ground and 20 minutes later my 6 year old was throwing her stuffed animal around. The stuffed animal hit the tree and broke it in half.

Tiny Twombly limb grafted to unknown trunk
Purchased a Twombly maple tree. Received a Twombly limb graphed to unknown rootstock. This supposedly “three year old” “Twombly” is less than 11” tall as the photograph clearly shows.Plant appears healthy - albeit there are a few tiny white spots on the leaves.Doubt I would buy again as it was not advertised as a graphed tree. This means any volunteer trees growing from the roots will not be Twombly’s but some unknown species.

Tree arrived in good condition but be aware it will be very small. I went to their website first so I was aware of this but they should include that info here in the Amazon description. Description says ' 3 year old live plant '. My tree is 9" tall above the soil in the pot. The pot is 6" tall. It seems healthy and has good color. I will try and update the review in a year
