So far so good. I love them.
Very well made knives. I've only been throwing for about 6 months. I find these knives to be great. Great for training. The only modification I made was I removed the paracord and wrapped with athletic tape to keep down the noise. So far the tips seem strong throwing into homemade Target of 2x6s.

Nice swords... yes, they are big.
Ordered these throwers and I have to say, the shipping was quick, received them packaged nicely, though the SOG box was broken, no biggie, it's a box, but I;'m a stickler for details, again, I'll let it slide.I didn't realize that these knives were meant to fend off Godzilla, yeah, they're much bigger than any other throwing knife I own. I'm not complaining, I mean, it's plausible that during the Zombie Apocalypse, that perhaps we may have to fend off a Zombie Godzilla, or Dr. Gori.I've seen some people complaining about the fact that they aren't made of the "advertised" steel, but I think that's just a whiner who is pissed that he paid too much, after-all, he admitted to buying them elsewhere, so why would he come to this sellers page to review? Sad, disingenuous people.regardless, even if these weren't made of that steel, they're large, like regular sized knives, and they're THICK, these would go into an intruder without any issues what-so-ever. I'm pretty damn certain that they'd penetrate Godzilla's scaly skin as well.I recommend these, good seller, good product, good defense, oh, and the sheath is very well crafted & I really dig the para cord wrapped handles.Cheers!

UPDATE OF MY REVIEW, "DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY" ................ 4 stars update
MY ORIGINAL REVIEW "i had high hopes for thee knives , given their size. Sadly, the stainless they are made out of, is way to light, making you have to be a major league pitcher , in order to get any penetration into the target. Im returning them for refund"MY REVIEW OF THESE KNIVES WAS UNFAIR, IN THAT I DID NOT POSSESS THE SKILLS IT TAKES TO THROWN A KNIFE THAT WEIGHS IN AT 50 GRAMS LIGHTER THAN WHAT I NORMALLY THROW. I LIKE TO THROW FROM ABOUT 35 FEET (2 SPINS ) . THE LIGHTWEIGHT OF THESE KNIVES MAKES IT A CHALLENGE TO NOT LET THE WIND AFFECT THE FLIGHT OF THE KNIFE, AND TO GET ANY PENETRATION INTO THE TARGET. iF YOU THROW FROM AROUND 15 FEET, i HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE KNIVES. iF YOU THROW FROM SOME DISTANCE, AND WANT A KNIFE THAT WILL FORCE YOU TO IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS, AND YOU HAVE THE PATIENTS TO DO SO, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE KNIVES IN MY CASE, I HAD TO RESTART FROM SCRATCH, CHANGING HOW AND FROM WHAT END I GRIP THE KNIFE, TO PAYING SPECIAL ATTENTION TO HOW I RELEASE IT SO AS TO NOT UPSET THE PLANE OF THE KNIFE. REGARDLESS IF YOU BUY THIS KNIFE OR ANOTHER BRAND, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING FROM PROMARK, THE COMPANY I BOUGHT THESE KNIVES FROM. THE COMPANY GENUINELY CONCERNS ITSELF WITH YOUR HAPPINESS OF YOUR PURCHASE, AND GOES OUT OF ITS WAY TO REACH OUT TO YOU WHEN SOMETHING ISNT RIGHT TO YOU.

Don't get others that break - These will last
Yep - you gotta practice but once you get it then it is really fun. These blades will last for years when others break after a few throws (I've tired them)Very well made. I'd recommend sharpening them with a grinder as they come pretty dull

Great Knives!
I purchased these knives 1.5 months ago and I had to come back and write this review. I've tried other knives and these knives are my favorite. The length, weight, and balance of the are perfect. I like the amount of pressure applied once it sticks to my wooden target. I've thrown these knives at least 1,000 times and because of that, there was normal wear and tear in which I had to replace the paracord handle but that's not a knock on the quality of this product... like I said, it was normal wear and tear. Great knives and would buy again.

Sturdy Handle but hard to use
It’s hard to use but works well once you figure out the best way to hold when throwing

These knives are great!
Being retired from the military I am very familiar with the SOG brand and the quality & reliability of their products but I was still surprised at how great these “Fling” throwing knives are for the price that you pay. Ive bought other throwing knives that were more expensive but of lesser quality. I’m definitely going to by 1 or 2 more sets of these.-Robert Thomas USA-Retired
