Decorative Turtle Pier Floating Basking Platform with Ramp Ladder

This cute little pier is easy to assemble, easy for the turtle to use, and floats very well in the water, even when the fat little guy is on it. He climbs up on it for food time or just to chill under the lights. It makes it nice and easy to see him whenever he naps up there. We put his food up on it and he crawls easily and munches there.

I like the set up but the plank is not stable enough for the turtle to climb.

My RESs are older boys (34 yo) and needed a platform closer to the top of their 60 gallon tank. This unit did not work out. It's more suitable for hatchlings.

This product was a nice idea but terrible execution. The suction cups don't hold their seal. The bridge to the top, which is very important for my turtle to be able to lay out under the heat lamp was a flimsy piece of plastic that doesn't actually fit right into the top and keeps popping up. My turtle could never actually climb onto it and walk up to the top tier. I actually found him flipped onto his back twice after attempting to climb it and after the second incident, just removed it.

So far so good. Make sure you build it correctly or else it will be wobbly.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the floating dock for my turtle, and while the base is sturdy, the dock itself is poorly designed. The spiral struts don’t lock into place, leaving it unsecured and wobbly. I initially thought some parts were missing, but after checking, it turns out that’s just how the product is made. It could definitely use a redesign. If you have a larger turtle, I wouldn’t recommend this at all. Even with my baby turtle, I’m concerned about it coming loose and floating around the tank. Overall, this dock doesn’t feel safe or reliable.

Good price. Good size for small title.
