Audio-Technica System 10 Boundary Transmitter Wireless Boundary Microphone/Transmitter (ATW-T1006)

I have a few of these among other system10 mics. Although they don't get used all the time, they are very useful. Normally I am using the bodypack or the handheld transmitter, but every once in a while, when you need to mic a choir, kids play, piano, or even conference meeting these are gold. Use them with a battery bank and you can run them all day. Connection is solid, no issues experienced yet (i've been using them for over 2 years). decent amount of features built into the mic it self. Sounds great.PROs:Built in battery pack (with ability to function normally while charging)Build quality is really solidTouch screen mute function (easy to teach users)Reliable connection on the system10 platformSome functionality built in to the mic (gain, low cut, button mode)CONs:Not cheap by any meansOften wish there was a built in gate function. - I know normally this is on the mixer/interface side, but sometimes when utilizing the camera mount receiver and recording directly into camera or other device you can't really insert a gate. Due to the sensitivity of the mic I really believe this is a necessary function on the system/receiver/mic itself.Wish the 2.4 GHz platform range was longer.Other than that. this is a great solid system. Used often, and reliable.
