Good Electrical Tester
This is a very good tester, I purchased two different ones from a big box store and both did not function and were returned. This one is simple and correctly sounds when testing line voltage. The one improvement I could suggest is a button to turn the testing function on and off. It is constantly on, so if it is sitting on the counter and inadvertently gets close to an outlet or electrical source it just goes off. Again not a big deal but an off button would be nice. Still a very good product.

It takes 2 AAA batteries
The item works well - I knew it uses batteries but on the Amazon site- it doesn't tell what type or how many batteries it takes- then when I received it- IT STILL DIDN'T SAY WHAT BATTERIES OR HOW MANY ON IT'S PACKAGE! Newsflash= it takes 2- AAA batteries. Why wouldn't MR PEN list the type and number of batteries it takes??? I had to open it to find out!
