Replacement Worked Out Well 👌
I had this exact same switch by " Minka Aire" , it lasted for quite a long time before the push buttons wore out .I didn't see the same switch in that brand on Amazon or the Minka Aire website ~ it was pretty old .This one appeared to be same : light with dimmer , three fan speeds & on / off . Install was flawless , only took a few minutes . Blends in with the wall ~ not an eyesore & no noise from the fan at all .💯

A great replacement for my original Hunter switch
This turned out to be a great replacement for the Hunter model where the On/Off button stopped working. I simply took the old one out, set the DIP switches on the new one to match the old one and it worked perfectly. Now I don't have to try and push the button out the back of the switch to try and get the light to turn on. I loved that I didn't have to do anything in the Fan itself and it didn't mess with the remote control I have for the fan.

Great replacement control for my Kichler fan
Clear installation instructions and perfectly replaced the fan control for my Kichler fan. The dimming control for the light works great. Definitely saved money versus buying the OEM fan control.

Doesn't Last - I Don't Recommend
Worked fine for exactly 1 month with my new Hampton Bay Rockport 52" fan. Just like so many others - the switch just stopped working - with only very light usage. Ordering the Hampton Bay/Home Depot version - to see if it fairs any better.6/4/25 Update: So it's confirmed - just the receiver portion went bad (the wall switch is still functioning fine) - replaced only the receiver with the Hampton Bay one from HD. We'll see if it lasts any longer. Back to 'pull chains' if the HD version fails prematurely too.

Works but no neutral wire support.
I wanted a better (hard wired) version on the wireless remote my harbor breeze fan light came with. The fan had been hard wired so it was always on because some outlets were also wired to it (odd I know).Adding this remote allowed me to have a dedicated wall switch for the fan and freeing up the original remote to be used bedside etc. great idea but hit some snags.Like most control devices I expected this would need power but was a little confused why the three wires included a ground and 2 black wires instead of black / white. Upon looking into it this device can’t utilize a neutral wire for return current. It has to be wired directly in line with the load. Since it’s switching the fan and light on wirelessly there’s no reason it had to be this way. It could have used a neutral wire and open up a lot more flexibility in the wiring options. The box itself was also rather large. A little bigger than even a GFCI receptacle would be. This made the fit extremely tight in the single gang box. Conveniently there’s no exposed side terminals or exposed surfaces to short out. That makes the low side clearance a bit less of an issue. While I with this was more compact and supported using a neutral wire it did work easily and flawlessly once installed. Just match the dip switches to the fan or existing remote and wire it in like a traditional toggle switch. It perfectly replicates the functions of the OEM remote. No noise or buzzing cheap products sometimes have. Looks much better than OEM remote mounted in a cradle.

Exact fit for Lowe’s Harbor Breeze wall switch.
Replaced my old wall control because the on/off push button was no longer working. Wired this one in and now it just requires a light touch to turn the light on or off. Dims lighting as it is supposed to and all three fan control levels work as they should. Good quality and perfect replacement for the old Lowe’s Harbor Breeze controller.

Works well but took a little fiddling to get it installed
One thing to note that this is really made for a ceiling huger type fan. If you have a fan that has a drop rod then you're probably not going to be able to get it fit.Installation is very straight forward. I mean how hard is it to connect 5 differently colored wires? I did have to do a lot of fiddling around to get it in the tight space. I also had to add a couple strips of double sticky back foam tape to affix to the ceiling. Without the foam tape it would rub on the motor. Tape not supplied but lucky for me have a big roll of it.I also had to do a lot of work getting the remote to fit into the box. My house is an older house so the boxes in the wall are metal and they are tight getting it to fit. I would guess that it would fit much better in modern plastic boxes .

Replacement for a similar looking Hampton Bay model and worked right out of the box!
These wall controls looked exactly the same as our old ones and worked out of the box once I set the switches to be the same as what we had, but were branded Hampton Bay. We have older fans with a separate wireless control module in the fan's canopy that use the DIP switches to set the control code. I couldn't see any difference between our old wall controls and these. One had quit transmitting and one had the light button get stuck on so that it was constantly dimming and brightening the light.Note that the generic replacement wireless ceiling fan remotes you can buy that have the 4 DIP switches will work with this wall controller as well. You can have as many remotes as you want for one of these wall controls. Bought my son a remote for his birthday and he said it was the !!!best present ever!!!Also note that pressing and holding the green light control button dims and then brightens the light. Press and release turns off. We didn't know that until we bought these, and just thought our fan's light sucked.
