I purchased this item to use to incubate my quail eggs I had a minimum of 100 eggs in there. The motors never worked properly the rollers never rolled fully. I would look into other incubators and bypass this one completely even if you don't use the rollers in your incubator and you use like the little egg rockers which are small baskets you would put the eggs in the motors on those went out as well. So beyond disappointed with this product and the loss of my product and I ended up losing a bunch of money.

Bought as a backup for an older set of incubator rails. Works and worth it!

This unit comes well packaged (overkill), but has no instructions. Not hard to figure out though, especially if you look at a photo from the website. The plug is a specific Molex-type, but the motor operates on 120 volts AC so I knew I would have to cut that off before purchasing the unit. After installing a plug and testing operation, I found that the worm gear was not engaging the roller gears consistently. I used a round file to deepen the groove in which the roller sits by about an 1/8 of an inch. Worked better, but still had issues. After closer inspection, I found the mold used to make the roller gear leaves a tiny burr on two edges of the roller (where the seam of the mold was). I took a small flat file and removed the burr. After this, the unit works smoothly and without any issues. Overall, I don't think I should have had to file the plastic on a new product. However, for the price and 15 minutes worth of work, its well worth the money spent. I put mine on a digital timer to operate for one minute and 20 seconds every 3 hours.

Waste money . Doesn't work. Has no enough power to rotate the eggs.

Purchased two sets of these to increase the two tiers of my 96 egg incubator to hold more quail eggs.They went together well, plugged in just fine, but when I plugged them in, they did nothing. The motor made noise on each of them and they would kinda shift a bit, but never turned one iota. If you purchase these, be prepared for junk. Neither one worked. The only reason they got a two star is because they didn't charge me to send them back.Not a good value. Get these elsewhere.

I ordered 7 roller thinking the frame size might be smaller for an incubator I’m building. It looks like all the frames may be the same size and 7 rollers won’t cover the width as far as chicken eggs but nine will

I purchased 2 of these to hatch chicken eggs. Made some changes to make it work better for me. Fabricated metal frames and installed on drawer guides for easy access. Installed o-rings to eliminate egg rolling/walking issues. Now eggs roll evenly. Then replaced the motors to single direction (CW). Timed 1/4 turn every 2 hours cycle.
