This set is perfect for a classroom setting. You get a lot for the price and it's good quality. Works great! Very easy to use! The compasses are nice and tight and don't shift while making an arc or circle, which is very important for geometry.

I bought this set for drawing Mandalas. I can say that all three compasses work great. The one with a pencil holder works great with Sakura Micron Pens. The one with the lock is great for drafting the mandala, the the other one works as intended as well. If you have trouble with the compass being a little loose, just tighten the screws it fixes the problem. The eraser that comes with the set works great. And the pencil sharpener does what its suppose to do. The two pencils are a little cheap and hard to erase so i used my Mechanical pencil instead, worked like a charm. The replacement leads seem to be in order. I attached the mandala i drew with the review to show how the compasses do. I definitely recommend this set. Ive ordered from Mr Pen many times, they are a great company, and make quality products.

I bought this because all the ones I kept finding local were plastic and flimsy. I always preferred a metal compass and wanted my daughter to have something higher quality to work with. This worked out great.

I started drawing mandalas so I needed a geometry set (for the first time since high school). This little set came with everything I needed. I wish the ruler was longer and the compass a little bigger. I love the eraser - clears the pencil marks without damaging paper.
