It got the job done
This review comes from a person who doesn't know much about routers. I bought it to make some cabinet doors. I needed to put a Roman edge on some and a billnose on some other stuff. It got the job done but it was really hot in my hand almost unbearable. The edges were ok. Had to hand sand a lot to get the fuzz off. It's a good cheap router with bits.

Purchased for a cnc
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to put into a CNC that I made for a friend who is just starting out so I don't want to buy the router this looks like. I won't be using any of the bits included but I thought I'd do a quick cut with the 90 degree vbit included in the package. I wasn't expecting much from the bit after reading some reviews but once I got the feeds and speeds it actually cuts fine also the picture shown of my test has the vbit set to 60 degrees in the gcode not 90. The machine performed just fine cutting 1mm per pass anything deeper and the motor strained. In the video it's cutting at 1mm depth at a speed of 40mm per sec. . I was able to do some pocketing and profile cuts with a 3mm endmill with an adapter I bought separately and the router did fine at 2.5mm depth per pass, It did bog down a bit but I only ran the speed on 4 on the vbit cutting and the endmill anything higher than that is way to loud for wife approval. It seems to have about 3 speeds low medium and high. It includes a collet that is exactly like the light blue router on my other CNC that was more expensive and also uses the same brushes as that machine. I ran the router for about 30 minutes and didn't see any overheating. The only con I have is I'd like to have seen 2 wrenches to make bit changes the little button that you press to lock the collet and wrench it loose or tight is not something I'd trust to last. Great router for starting out.

Do some practice swings before committing on a real project
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this router because I wanted to put grooves inside of the doors that will be attached to a cabinet and I’ve done a lot of research and found that this was the best product to use for that look. after doing my initial cut outs with a jigsaw, I tested the bits on a piece of scrap wood to find the one that would give what I was looking for and I settled on the rounded bit. When I did the test piece, it was rounding the edge of the cut out but once I was actually working on the product, I needed to use it on the inside edge of the cut out and it didn’t work as well. It was hard to reach the corners to get a clean cut and the unit was really unstable as I was cutting along the edge. I didn’t use a guide because I was working with curved areas and I didn’t know how that would work but I’m going to return this product as I decided to finish the piece without using a router and I don’t ever plan to use it anytime soon to keep it. Overall, I’m still going to read it five stars mainly because I am a new user and I’m sure this product would work for someone with more experience, it’s not the routers fault that I didn’t know how to use it properly
