I have a 2013 Ford Focus Estate. It had a Ford Sync head unit. After that died (and the replacement I bought to replace it also died 6 months later). I decided to upgrade to a new radio. I opted for this radio and the optional DAB+ adaptor. Radio is awash with connection cables in the fitting kit which is confusing at first glance. However with the correct radio specified for your vehicle it is literally "plug and play" the cables can only be clipped into the correct fitting and in turn the correct socket on the back of the head unit. Took about 20-30 mins to fit the head unit and setup. The radio its self is feature rich supporting Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and its own "native" interface. Android Auto and the native interface are very intuitive and easy to navigate (I don't have an iPhone so cannot comment on that, but assume it is at least as intuitive). The unit itself is well made and the plastics used are similar enough to the originals to make it look "factory fitted" when completely installed. A solid 9/10 all round.

This head unit is definitely an upgrade from the OEM version. The device is very responsive, and the familiar Android interface makes it easy to use. The installation process was not too difficult, although there were some minor hiccups.While I would like to give it a 5-star rating, there are a few issues that prevent me from doing so. The fitment is decent, but not perfect; I had to modify some of my vents to get it to fit properly. Additionally, I had to leave off the beauty panel because it didn't fit correctly.The biggest drawback is the GPS functionality. It often sends you off the map or fails to work at all, which can be extremely frustrating, especially at inconvenient times. Even after restarting the car, the GPS sometimes acts as if it doesn't exist, forcing me to rely on my phone for navigation. Although this issue doesn't occur frequently, when it does, it's maddening.Lastly, the head unit claims to support Android Auto, but it doesn't. Instead, it just runs a standard Android interface. It would be much more convenient to have true Android Auto capabilities, allowing for easier access to phone functions like typing, searching for destinations, or selecting music.Despite these minor annoyances (with the GPS being the most significant), I've found the unit satisfactory overall after more than a year of use.

The lack of installation / configuration documentation prevents me from rating this is five star product.To resolve what is essentially simple issues such as changing the unit from left hand drive to right hand drive configuration ( something I would expect to see in documentation provided with the product ) means contacting the seller for additional information.Beyond the lack of documentation the unit reacts quickly, configuration was easy once provided with the relevant information, Features are excellent over the factory vehicle unit and the audio appears to be better over the factory installed unit ( this maybe down to more options for audio configuration over the factory fitted unit ).Easily a five star product with better documentation.

Only one problem it is when you open the driver door it show you pesenger dor open and when you open pesenger door it show you driver door and I don’t now how to change that but in rest it very fast I use all the time apple car play and everything it fine

It’s ok but instructions waste of time wrong leads to fit my car had to pay £18 for another lead which was too short in the end sent head unit back and fitted original Sony unit back in just a bit of advice unless you really want the hassle stick to your original system

It doesn't come with a dab receiver you have to buy one and the dab app what comes with it not every good have download a new one works fine now

Although the product didnt come with any instructions, the install was pretty self explanitory. All the cable connections are keyed, so theres only one place anything can go.Once installed everything worked perfectly. Android Auto works either wired or wirelessly, and the unit is very responsive. Great upgrade to bring my 12 year old Focus into this decade. Looks like a factory fitted option.
