MG Cosmetics Brow Henna Patch Test

Patch test must be performed at least 48 hours prior to Brow Henna application.

- Mix one scoop of henna with two drops of activator, apply a spot to your inner wrist, inner arm or behind your ear, remove with damp cotton after 15mins. 
- If any itching, redness, burning, swelling, blistering or any shortness of breath occurs in this time or up to 48 hours after your patch test, do not preform Brow Henna to your brows.

What is the difference between Henna brows and other brow tints?

Traditional brow tints use oxidants to open the cuticle of the brow hair to allow the color to penetrate the brow hair cortex through the oxidation process which can dry out and damage eyebrow hairs.

Whereas Brow Henna coats the brow hair with color locking in moisture keeping the hair healthy and hydrated which actually results in encouraging hair growth.

Henna also not only dyes brow hair but it also stains the skin underneath creating an illusion of depth and fullness in the area, creating definition and visually filling in any sparseness even if there is no eyebrow hair present.

How long do you have to leave the Henna on the brow for?

Accepted Answer

Please assure you complete your henna patch test prior to your henna brow application.

MG Cosmetics Brow Henna can be left on the brows for up to 30 minutes depending on how dark you want your brows, the longer you leave the Henna on your brows the darker the color will develop.

I recommend 10-20 minutes for your first application, then you can gage on this colour result for you next application.

If colour is just right continue with this time.

If you require a lighter shade, try 10 mins.

And if you require darker, try 30 mins
