I wouldn't recommend it. It is a cheap plastic switch, not rated for motor use.

Are there installation and wiring instructions for this product? I didn't receive any documentation with my purchase.

I don't recall seeing any instructions in the product box. But the contacts are standard double pole double throw. One normally open and one normally closed contact.

will this close a circuit when pressed?

Yes. 1-NO contacts 1-NC contact

Will emt conduit fit into the holes?

Not sure. I used a standard sheating cable connector 1/2"
