I bought this for my 10 year old artist. He loves drawing characters already. I figured he could use this to create his own characters. He loves it.

Good book

Nice book, lots of characters

This is not a how to draw book by any stretch of the imagination. There are no instructions just a series of progressive illustrations. On top of that, the images are very poor quality, completely cut and paste from the web. One only has to look at the cover of this book to realize how disappointing it will be. Don't waste your money, but more importantly your time, as you will undoubtedly be shipping it back.

It does not gain any attention from any of my children, but it's such a good price I would still recommend trying it out.

Bought this for my 9 yr old and the steps are complicated and detailed. This book is designed for people that already know how to draw and it just takes each pic and chunks them into body parts. There are no techniques, tips or tricks, just the finished product broken down into 5 final detailed steps.

Photo copies with parts erased. Not a how to draw book. You could print higher quality images off the internet.

Pretty disappointed. Looks like a homemade book with a glossy cover. So few characters and quality of the illustrations does not make this a good value. Would not recommend.

My grandson loves this he got it for Christmas and has done some of the drawing alrey

A waste of time and money. Poor quality pictures - one for each character - reproduced bit-by-bit over 6-7 pages (with no guidance or comment). Nothing you couldn't do better yourself in 5 mins downloading from the web.
